Launching the Giant’s Online Pharmacy

In 2019, Amazon acquired online pharmacy PillPack and started ramping up to the launch of Amazon Pharmacy. They asked me to work with their lead writers to develop concept headlines that would unpack benefits and user experience.
Like all Amazon services, price transparency – and even comparison – is part of the sell. However, delivering on a pharmacy is very different from selling skillets and shoes. The team wanted to normalize meds, and use plain language that felt more like a conversation than a clinical healthcare infomercial.
